Greater Texoma Utility Authority to meet

The Greater Texoma Utility Authority will hold its board of directors meeting at 12:30 p.m. Monday at its board room at 5100 Airport Drive in Denison. Considered will be water, general and wastewater activities.

Several issues regarding the city of Melissa project will be discussed, including series 2009-A and 2009-B bonds and the issuance of such bonds. The board will also consider authorization for the general manager to advertise for bids for the projects relating to those bonds.

The board will also receive reports on the Melissa-Anna sewer project, the Groundwater Conservation District Activities and the Reallocation study.

Also on the agenda are the general manager's request to co-chair the Texas Water Conservation Association Groundwater Committee, an extension of lease for the administrative offices, the nominations for places 7-10 of the Board of Trustees of the Texas Water Conservation Association Risk Management Fund and revisions needed in Investment Policies.
