Grayson County piano students compete in Houston

Nine Grsyson County piano students participated June 12 in the intermediate division piano ensemble at the Texas Music Teachers Convention in Houston. The students performed "Pineapple Rag" composed by Scott Joplin. The students are Morgan Carter, Olivia Estes, Ashley Hicks, Townsend Jambor and Hannah Brown, Jake Noltensmeyer, Katie Long, director Lesa Hicks, Scarlett Jones, and Jake Davis.

Teachers who had students participate in the ensemble were Donna Batey, Lesa Hicks, Susan Matthews Anne McGee and Kathy Sauls.
