Current health insurance problem sending jobs overseas

The exorbitant cost of health insurance in the U.S.A. is a major cause of the hemorrhage of jobs to overseas locations. Medicare For All is the only responsible health care reform option for the well-being of the American people.

American Jobs going to China : 11/25/2009
I have to laugh when Obama said in his presidential campaign that we need to award Companies for keeping jobs in America. My employer GE is sending American jobs to China, and other communist countriesat an alarming rate. I guess the government is still awarding these companies for eliminating good manufacturing and tech jobs, sending our U.S. technologies along with it.

...you must be one of the Mr. Sam "Yellow Dogs" still around Fannin County. For your belief appears rooted in the classic non-conservative Democratic Party beliefs which have openly declared, since the days of FDR, the bigger the government the bigger the problems it can solve. .... Even when history has taught us the opposite is true. ..... Simply keep in mind the old adage, "A government large enough to give you everything, is a government large enough to take it away." Our founding fathers full well understood this, reckon why members of the modern day Democratic Party seem to have forgotten it?

According to Paul Harvey there are over 600 restaurants in Beijing China that serve rats on the menu. Suddenly, everyone thinks that somewhere else has discovered the magical answer to all of the world's problems. It would be nice if a married man and woman could decide who would stay home with the children and moreover, that our corporate government would support such a concept. This would cure most of our problems of child neglect, welfare, housing, and education. In 1972 when the E.R.A. was "adopted" by congress we effectively doubled the work force available for employers from which to hire. Take one good job and divide by two...or dump the insurance...cut the vacations...You get the picture? In this modern age you can throw in the joke of state sponsored illegal immigration. Sometimes I just have to laugh at all of the high school degreed kids being prepared for the "Global Economy". "Youth! Our future heros!" The same self sacrificing individuals that will return home from a war that America may very well likely forget the reason for our involvement. Vietnam, anyone? I am fat, old, and considered by most to be rich. I give my brother a hard time for hiring illegals when he could easily hire high school kids. Afterall, we both eat from the same trustfund he can afford to spread it around. I live half of the year in the northwest where people get paid to pump my gasoline and kids there can still collect deposits for coke bottles. How quaint is that?
If you are having trouble with your business's profitability in Texas you simply aren't cutout to be an entrepreneur. As for NAFTA Ross Perot told you it would be just as it is and not to support the legislation. Currently, Mexicon is charging duties of over 45% for some U.S. products. You should ask your congressman where the reciprocity is with the current U.S. trade system.

Both Mary and Screenman's comments are correct but there is more to the hemorrhage of jobs to overseas companies.Workers in America want and get top wages for their work. Overseas workers are paid very little and do not require health insurance. So unless every country around the world is on the same page paying the same wages we will always have this problem to some degree. Currently the Democrats are increasing taxes so more U.S. companies will look overseas to help make their product with their cheaper labor and low shipping charges.

It was stated in Mrs. Davis's comment that the reason our jobs are going overseas is due to the cost of Health Insurance. I tend to disagree with this comment. Our Government has caused the shift of jobs in this country by passing the NAFTA bill. This has alowed the companies to move facilities out of the USA. The only industry that NAFTA has helped is the Trucking Industry.
