Blog Tween Again Computer developments
* Back when I finished high school, the computer was still a fairly new thing. I remember that we had some sort of class in computers offered, but I didn't take it.
In the decades since I graduated, I have come to have a love/hate relationship with computers. I love that I can type and edit things much fast than I ever could on a type writer. I hate that they often do things that baffle me.
The current baffle is Facebook. Some of my friends know that I have a page on this social networking site. The baffling part is the fact that I don't really know what I am doing there. I write on peoples' wall, but I am never sure that is what I should have done in any specific situation.
There are all of the quizzes. I love to take quizzes, but it wastes a lot of time. I am afraid I just am not dedicated enough to be a true Facebook star.
"Dancing with the Stars" - Yes, they sent Denise Richards home. I was sooo happy. She can't dance, which is surprising considering. I always feel sorry for the girls who can't seem to "let it all go" and dance. I know I couldn't do it so I am always pulling for them. However, it is hard to pull for someone who has the reputation Richards has for stealing other people's husbands and such. That stuff catches up with you in the end. Maybe more of America would have voted for her if she had left Health LockLear's man alone?
I think several couples have a chance at winning this year, but I am pulling for the little gymnast. Why not?
* "Biggest Loser" - so they sent Aubrey home. Was anyone else surprised it wasn't Ron? That was a big weight drop for him. I was just sure he would be going home. I want Tara to win. I can't help it. I know she is sometimes a little bit hard to take, but she just keeps digging in and doing the best she can in the challenges. She is determined and she isn't as negative as some of the people have been.
Ron should go home next week unless he pulls another uncharacteristically high number.
