Denison pep rally is Thursday
There will be a community pep rally for the Denison football team Thursday night at 6 p.m. at Heritage Park.
Yellow Jacket fans are encouraged to attend and support the start of the playoffs. Denison faces Richardson Pearce at 7:30 p.m. at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco on Friday.
At the pep rally there will be hot dogs and drinks, music and a highlight video.
Playoff t-shirts will also be available for purchase for $15.

Buzzie Body... I'm saying this with the realization that anything could happen (and in this case, it means we suffer so many injuries we can't field a team), but Conrad is horrible. The 4 teams they beat in the regular season combined for 6 wins all year. One of the teams they beat (by 10 points) lost to Callisburg by 50. I'm not sure how they beat Pinkston (who's not good either), but if Conrad isn't the worst team still playing in 4A they have to be very close.

Jason, do you know anything about Dallas Conrad? I am hoping that our YellowJackets stay level headed and do not take any games for granted. That's a sure way to an upset. I was more than pleased over the penalty situation this week....much improved. Was it 5 for 50 something; last week 12 for 140 (still hurts to write it)! The game was awesome and the team looked even better than we had anticipated that they could be, and that's saying quite a lot. I am still hoping for a Cody Reeves article. It's most likely hard to pick who you will write about on this team as there are standouts everywhere. GO Jackets....all the way to state.
