If you're into comfort food, and most of us are, you have to make the short jaunt down to Babe's Chicken House, which just opened in Frisco in the historic Heritage District.

I know many folks who make the two-hour round-trip to Sanger on occasion to eat the family-style dining which has put Babe's on the international map, especially for the crispy fried chicken.

Now, with a place in Frisco, their drive time is cut in half and the restaurant is smack dab in the middle of a museum and heritage district, which is definitely a good way to burn an afternoon.

Now, this is not a plug as much as this is a public service. Seriously, if you want to eat like you did at grandma's house for Sunday dinner, this is where you want to go.

For you video game fans, and you Star Wars fan, and the many who are fans of both, you'll be glad to know the new video game "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" carries the torch for the Star Wars series, and even fills in some gaps left between the older trilogy of Star Wars movies and the new.

The graphics for the game, offered on most game platforms but truly stunning on the Playstation 3, are top notch. The storyline is intriguing, the humans rendered in the game look very realistic.

Games based on movies, and to a degree movies based on games, tend to let the player down. There's usually not much interaction and the games tend to be quite easy to beat. Not in this case.

The Force Unleashed will offer a challenge, many thinking skills are needed, and a basic knowledge of Star Wars lore helps.

I noticed in my travel notes that the Four Seasons in Las Colinas, in Irving, Texas, is offering golfers a chance to play on the same course that Tiger Woods and the like play on annually during the Byron Nelson. Not only can anybody get a tee time, they have a kids' club "for all seasons" where the kids can be entertained and a spa for non-golfers to partake in. Finally, something special for a weekend that everybody in the whole family can do. So start saving up, you deserve a break.
