Former Anna coach charged with sexual assault
HERALD DEMOCRAT
WYLIE -- A Wylie High School football coach has been charged with a
felony in relation to an alleged sexual assault of a child which
occurred while he was working at Anna High School.
Bradley Glenn Thompson, 26, was arrested at Wylie High School on
Wednesday. Lt. John Norton, public information officer for the Collin
County Sheriff's office, told the Wylie News that Thompson was released
Thursday on $150,000 bond.
Norton said that Thompson was employed by Anna ISD and the alleged
assault took place over the course of the 2008-09 school year. Although
the age of the victim has not been released, Norton said she was a high
school student and that the incidents took place both on and off
campus.
Thompson is the freshman head coach and varsity offensive line coach at Wylie. He is a graduate of Austin College.

There is NO excuse for a 20 something year old coach to be having a "relationship" with a teenager. I don't care if the girl was the biggest tease in the world. Obviously, this coach can't control himself and age doesn't matter to him. Luckily he wasn't working at the middle school! I do think this girl should be punished. But, this coach should pay the price for the CRIME, no matter what the excuse or circumstances!!He is the grown man in this situation. He knew it was wrong.....and so did she.

Familiar Story : 12/23/2009
Sounds so familiar.... EVERYONE has heard about the coach from Pottsboro & now all of a sudden all these coaches are getting into trouble bc of relationships with students. Im begining to wonder if maybe the girls are just mad at them & know that if they say something like this they will get in trouble...

If it happened during the course of the 2008-2009 school year, why are they just now doing anything about this? Did he break off the relationship with the girl and now she is upset and decided to press charges?
Something seems fishy...
