Just in time for the upcoming summer season, Applebee’s restaurants announced the return of its Dollarita deal to restaurants across the state of Texas. The offer allows patrons to purchase margaritas for just $1 throughout the month of April.
The deal will be offered at 65 restaurants owned by franchisee Apple Texas. This will include the Sherman location on Texoma Parkway and restaurants in Austin, East Texas, the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Houston and Waco.
This is the third year the restaurant has offered the margarita deal after it was introduced in 2016 by Chris Dharod, president of SSCP Management over the summer. Following the success of the first campaign, the offer returned in 2017 and set records for the most margaritas sold in one month in the franchise partner’s history.
Since the initial campaign, nearly 2,000 Applebee’s locations have launched the offer.
“Dollarita was such a hit, not only in Texas but nationwide, that we decided to once again treat our guests to a margarita for a buck,” Dharod said. “So, whether you’re expecting a refund this month or even if you owe Uncle Sam, you can still get your drink on at Applebee’s while being kind to your wallet.”
