Police reports Sherman Police

Arrest -- June 17, Police jailed a 17-year-old because of a "directive to apprehend," issued by the Texas Youth Commission. A directive to apprehend a juvenile is a warrant issued when a youth in TYC custody has either escaped or failed to comply with the written conditions of release under supervision, according to the Texas Office of the Secretary of State.

Theft of rented laptop -- June 17, 1818 Texoma Parkway (Rent A Center), Store management reported that an adult male stole a computer while someone else distracted a clerk.

Stolen bicycle -- June 17, 500 block South  Maxey, A complainant told Goodman that her son had left his 20-inch fluorescent green, bicycle next to their residence. When he went back to put it away, it was gone.

Drugs found -- June 17, 2400 block Texoma Parkway, A woman called police and reported that a housemate had hidden drugs under the couch inside her residence. Police have filed a charge of possession of a controlled substance on the named suspect.
