Two good Samaritans die

Two Good Samaritans die ...

This should have been the headlines for the accident Wednesday morning. How many more accidents have to happen at the intersection of S.H. 11 and F.M. 1417, before action is taken to resolve this problem?

I have seen and heard of so many accidents at this location, as many other readers have also witnessed. Now, two good Samaritans are dead because they stopped to help. This is really sending out a message that we should not stop to help anyone in an accident because it is too dangerous for us.

The speed limit is too high on S.H. 11, at this intersection and coming into Sherman, making it too dangerous to pull out of the residential streets. More accidents will continue to happen, which are senseless, unless the speed is reduced.

Let's slow down and save lives. It's the right thing to do. My heart goes out to all the families of the accident.
