BONHAM -- Gregory Lynn Dady, a suspect in a Fannin County narcotics investigation, claimed ownership on Monday of various drugs the Fannin County Sheriff's Office narcotics investigators found after executing a search and arrest warrant.
Fannin County Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Joe Dale signed the search warrant on a house in the 800 block of North Evans in Bonham. Just after midnight, deputies raided the house. They found one bag of methamphetamine weighing 20.1 grams; one set of digital scales; numerous baggies, new and used, believed to be available for drug packaging; two marked Fannin County S.O. drug money bills, a $100 bill and a $10 bill; and one tin can with about two grams of marijuana.
The report adds that Dady admitted ownership to all the illegal contraband, including the meth, and no other arrests were made. Investigators jailed him on a felony charge of manufacture-delivery of controlled substance (meth) between 4-200 grams, and on six outstanding arrest warrants charging him with various driving offenses.
After a field test showed positive for methamphetamine, the seized drugs have been sent to the Texas Department of Public Safety crime lab for confirmation.
