Fannin County deputies make drug arrest

<p>BONHAM -- Gregory Lynn Dady, a suspect in a Fannin County narcotics
investigation, claimed ownership on Monday of various drugs the Fannin
County Sheriff's Office narcotics investigators found after executing a
search and arrest warrant.

<p>Fannin County Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Joe Dale signed the
search warrant on a house in the 800 block of North Evans in Bonham.
Just after midnight, deputies raided the house. They found one bag of
methamphetamine weighing 20.1 grams; one set of digital scales;
numerous baggies, new and used, believed to be available for drug
packaging; two marked Fannin County S.O. drug money bills, a $100 bill
and a $10 bill; and one tin can with about two grams of marijuana.
</p><p>The report adds that Dady admitted ownership to all the illegal
contraband, including the meth, and no other arrests were made.
Investigators jailed him on a felony charge of manufacture-delivery of
controlled substance (meth) between 4-200 grams, and on six outstanding
arrest warrants charging him with various driving offenses. </p>

<p>After a field test showed positive for methamphetamine, the seized
drugs have been sent to the Texas Department of Public Safety crime lab
for confirmation.</p>
