Austin College sponsors Rangers promotion
Fans who go to the Texas Rangers' game against the Oakland Athletics
this Sunday afternoon will receive a gift ... courtesy of Austin
College.<br>

According to a Rangers press release, all fans who attend Sunday's game
at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington will receive a free brown Rangers cap,
courtesy of the college. The way the first-place Rangers have been
playing of late and the way attendance in Arlington has soared, I hope
they ordered a bunch of them.<br>
<br>
Sunday will also be Photo Day for the first 5,000 fans. A line will form on the
Third Base ramp for fans with cameras. The 5,000 participants in line
will be escorted to the field and have the opportunity to take photos
of players from the warning track from 12:15-1 p.m.<br>
<br>
The game begins at 2:05 p.m. The gates open at 11 a.m.<br>
