Vikings rally for doubleheader sweep

The Grayson County College baseball team used a pair of comebacks to sweep two from North Central Texas College in conference action on Saturday, 7-6 and 9-7.

Robert Perrin had his second-straight game-winning hit, this one an RBI single with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the seventh.

Denison native Chris Wilburn earned the win in relief as Grayson (13-7, 4-1-1) scored five times in the bottom of the inning. Shane Ammon added an RBI single in the frame.

In the second game the Vikings overcame a 5-0 deficit after two innings. Josh Rosecrans had a two-run single to tie the game at seven and the Dom Milo, who was 3-for-5, and Roger Bernal had RBI singles to complete the comeback.

Grayson is off until Saturday when it hosts Ranger.
